About me
I have a Bachelors of Arts in English, Creative Writing, from Elon University. While there, I completed a study abroad in Greece and have a minor in classical studies and communications. Occasionally I take workshops through UCLA Extension Writer’s program. Regularly I talk myself out of getting an MFA, but that may be in my future.
My job as a flight attendant give me a lot of free time to write and flexibility to explore with my family and friends. I’ve visited 34/50 states and 27 countries. Whenever we get to Antarctica, I’ll attempt to touch down on all 7 continents within 12 months. I believe in traveling slow, respecting the local people and environment, and following your curiosity not your checklist.
When our family cat Sherlock gets off my lap, you can find me sailing the Channel Islands National Park, baking bread and chocolate desserts, and jetting wherever the Boeing 767 fleet may take me. (I love the A350, but let’s be real, I’m only senior enough for the best trips on Christmas and Fourth of July.)
